Silly Sleeper

For the first few months Tori would only fall asleep in our arms, but now she's falling asleep in all sorts of funny positions. Here's a few of our favorites :)

Such a big girl!

I can not believe how well Tori is sitting up! She can sit unsupported for around 5 minutes and even longer if she has a toy in front of her to hold on to. This video was taken last week when Tori was 4 1/2 months old. She's doing so well we even tried giving her a bath in the big tub! She did well but it made me too nervous so she will still be getting baths in the baby tub for a few more weeks. I can't believe how big she's getting.... where did my baby go? It seems like she was just born, its hard to believe it won't be much longer until she's toddling around the house!

Sledding!!!

It snowed over night last week and we were afraid it would melt by the time we got off work so we took Tori sledding at 6:45am :-) Good thing we did too because it was completely gone bye the time we got home. She did seem to enjoy being pulled around the backyard but wasn't a huge fan of making her first snow angel.

I can do it all by myself!

Tori is officially sitting for short periods of time! I can't believe how quickly she is growing up!She can also stand for a few minutes with the help of the ottoman :) She can even walk on mommy and daddy's feet!!

Baptism

Tori was baptized after church today with our friends and family present. She did wonderfully, she "sang" and jibber jabbered all through church and had everyone around us giggling. Tori loved being the center of attention, she was full of smiles and loved playing with the big sleeves on the deacon's robe. Afterwards we came back to the house and had lots of food and chatting. It was such a beautiful ceremony and such a nice afternoon.

Tis the season

We're all ready for Christmas, we spent the last week getting all the lights and decorations up. Tori loves her first Christmas tree! She really seems to like all the lights and especially loves the shiny bows.Helping daddy put up the Christmas lights! It was cold but Tori managed to work her thumb out of her pram suit so it was available to suck on :)

New Laptop!!

My wonderful husband went out on black friday and stood in line to get me a new laptop! We drove past best buy at 10pm the night of Thanksgiving and there were already 12 tents in line!!! He went around 4:45am during the mass confusion and they were all out of the ones we were wanting so he then waited in line at Office Depot.... and sadly they were all out too. As Brian was walking back to the car he decided to run back into Best Buy to check out if they had any other good deals and amazingly 8 more of the model we were looking for magincally appeared! And then the poor man had to wait in line for a hour just to check out! He's so good to me =)
