2nd Trimester!

Today is the first day of my second trimester......only 6 months until we meet our miracle!!

12 1/2 week sonogram

We had our first ob appointment last Thursday, and we were there for almost 2 hours! They asked tons of questions and took a sample of just about everything possible. The baby was having play time during the sonogram (no orange juice required this time). It was stretching and bouncing all over, and was kicking its legs like crazy. The heart beat is still fast at 161 beats per minute and we're measuring over 2 inches. The doctor won't determine the gender until after 20 weeks so we won't find out until late Feb/early March..... which seems like forever away but hopefully it will go fast!

The first sonogram is of the whole baby (profile view), then second sonogram is a profile of the face with and arm up by its forehead.
